OOTD: Monochrome geometric squares making the ‘cut’

“Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” —Coco Chanel.

Monochrome colours may simplify your look if used alone, put when put together with different prints they become a powerful and timeless trend.

For my OOTD, I pair a monochrome top with geometric squares print and a cut out back with black skinny jeans. I wear minimalistic make-up, opting for a nude eye-shadow on my eyelids with a light layer of mascara to emphasise my winged eye-liner, rose tinted Vaseline on my lips, and a bold coral on my nails. To accessorise, I wear a silver, beaded watch, small diamond stud earrings, and a silver chained black over the shoulder bag.

The overall result radiates effortless glam, a perfect look for quiet drinks at the bar.

Both the top and denim leggings are from Next.

What do you think of the monochrome trend? Will you be wearing it? As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
