Vicky Pattison may be presenting I’m a Celebrity Extra Camp in Australia, but that does not mean the rest of her life gets put on hold. Yesterday (22nd), she surprised bloggers and celebrities with a top secret event at Manchester Warehouse, and launched her brand new range of Hair Revolution hair extensions.
I had the pleasure of attending the event, thanks to Steph from Ledigo PR. Greeted with a flute of prosecco and a photographer taking a snap, it was impossible not to feel privileged to have been blessed with the opportunity and get to see the product before the rest of the world.
Vicky was there in spirit, and video, announcing the product herself along with the reasons behind her creation, before a evening of pampering ensued. On the recording, she said: “Every girl wants to look her best, and it’s so much easier to feel glamorous and beautiful when you feel your hair is flawless,” just before an even bigger function room opened.
Unfortunately, the range laid out at the event were limited in colour, meaning that I was unable to find some that would compliment my brunette/burgundy balayage. However, I was able to feel them and note that the hair extensions were luxurious to the touch, with doubled up wefts to add thickness.
Despite not being able to try them myself, I watched on as another blogger had hers fitted. I heard them discuss how the extensions felt secure and as if they will not move at all, unlike others that she had previously tried. Find out what she thought of the product on her blog.
The area was separated into numerous sections, including a nail bar, hair-styling area, massage chair, glitter face and body painting station, cocktail bar and most importantly, a table full of the hair extensions themselves. Navigate through the slideshow to visualise the experience.
Despite already feeling spoilt by Vicky’s generosity, we were given a goody bag full of Schwarzkopf hair products to take away. The bag included a mixture of samples and miniature items: a sachet of fibreplex shampoo and bond maintainer, a miniature fibreplex shampoo, a miniature osis mighty matte wax and two osis tame wild smoothing anti-frizz cream miniatures.
Don’t forget to follow Hair Revolution on Twitter to find out more information, as well as when they will be available for purchase.
